Consultancy Services for the Supervision of Building Construction Works, Supply and Installation of Educational Equipment and Training to 20 Regional Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Centers Across Ghana.
Pre-Commencement Activities
Geomatic designs
The Consultant shall undertake a survey of project site and prepare site layout, plans or maps showing existing buildings and proposed developments and topographical survey plans indicating major land features.
Geotechnical investigations
The Consultant shall conduct Geotechnical investigations at sites earmarked for the construction and prepare. Geotechnical reports or soil test reports for each site. The findings from the geotechnical investigations should guide the design of the foundations for the structures.
Architectural and Engineering Designs
The Consultant shall carry out acritical review of all architectural and engineering designs during the conceptual and detailed design development and construction drawings for the works prior to approval for subsequent stages of the works progress.
Construction Supervision
- Consultancy Services for the Supervision of Building Construction Works, Supply and Installation of Educational Equipment and Training to 20 Regional Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Centers Across Ghana.
- Overall Project Management including coordination, monitoring and information management of construction works up to end of Defect Liability Period.
Co-ordinate the activities of inspection, testing and commissioning personnel from the Employer, Contractor and Statutory bodies.
- Inspection of STEM Centre at Practical Completion & handover to MoE
- Preparation of Construction Completion Report.
Supply & Installation of Educational Equipment & Training
Assist with local inspection and receipt of Equipment’s & materials in Ghana.
Validation of installed LMS Server, Licenses and Curriculum per Technical Specifications.
Inspection of Installed and functioning Equipment and Materials as well as IT Equipment
Inspection of STEM Centre at Practical Completion & Handover to MoE.
Assist with the Recruitment of STEAM Directors and Instructors.
Assess and report on training and workshops provided by Vendor so it conforms to specification and Terms of Contract
